How to get Urgozs' Longbow for 100s K cheaper
If you are the type of player that buys good items so that they can control+click their weapon set to show off their elite items, this thread isnt for you.
However if you are the player that doesn't mind a different skin, and just wants nice stats for a cheaper cost, read here:
All you have to do is get the ironwing longbow, and apply a 20/20 sundering to it, replacing the old mod, after doing this, your bow will hav the same stats as Urgozs'
Ironwing is cheap, or free if you use ammy, and the 20/20 sundering is available from around 20-40k, (according to bsaeline mod pricing stick in trade forums) while Urgoz longbow goes for like 100k +50ecto

Greens are not upgradeable. If they were my Shiro's Blades would be zealous instead of vampiric.

Also the main thing about the longbow is this skin...not the stats. It is my favorite bow skin, but I have had a lot of friends say it just looks like wimpy twigs to them hehe.

ascalon collector bows from the desert, add 20/20, and add +30 hp, it's like the same thing! [/sarcasm]
Most people that buy Urgoz buy it for the facts that they are a) elite mission drops. b) they for some odd reason like the skin or c) they want to burn money
Just like they pay tons more for a mursaat hornbow over a normal hornbow...

ugh. ugh ugh ugh ugh ugh ugh ugh.
one: sundering=not very good. beyond r-spike, where you have a sundering longbow, you shouldn't be using it.
two: long bows and flatbows are completely different. longbows have a lower arc, meaning higher accuracy, meaning you're a good player if you're using one a nd a bad player if you're rocking you're drago's.
three, greens cannot be upgraded.
no wonder my ranger has such a hard time finding a group.

Flatbows have the same range as a longbow but they have a faster refire rate, a flat bow with read the wind and or favourable winds is going to be a better option for ranged attacking than a longbow, so in conclusion you have no idea what is a good player or a bad player as each has its own merits.

Sundering is actually very useful on hammers, more so then /vampiric/ imo, and certainly more useful there then on bows.
All other weapons need not apply.
